Licence Free Chorus Line (Prelude) is a performance situation in development for the Peter Weiss Haus. Beginning with the casting of teenage performers to set the musical trajectory, the project will take the form of a revue, filmed by cameras. It is the final part in a three part cycle of performances interested in culturally reproduced ‘revolution’, which will be staged and filmed around Germany with Cheng and collaborators in the second half of 2022. A short video prelude using footage from the first part is prepared for Glasshouse, in anticipation of the final event.
